Luke Roussy is a bass trombonist from Toronto, with classical training from the Glenn Gould School (ADP, 2023) and Western University (BMus, 2020).
At the Glenn Gould School, Luke received two full scholarships: The Ihnatowycz Emerging Artists Scholarships and The Allan Kimberley and Pam Spackman Scholarship.
Professionally, Luke performs with orchestras in and around Toronto, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the National Ballet of Canada, the Ontario Pops Orchestra, and the Guelph Symphony Orchestra among others. He recently participated in the NYO Canada national 2023 Aurora tour.
Alongside performing, Luke also teaches a studio of young and enthusiastic trombone students enrolled in multiple Toronto-based private schools.
