Freddy Abu Sido is one of Toronto’s rapidlyrising young musicians. As a passionate and dedicated individual he is a regular performer with many community ensembles, performing with various groups around Toronto, and the GTA, in various styles, from mass, jazz, brass band, contemporary, to western classical chamber music, and orchestral music.
Freddy has completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto specializing in Trumpet Performance, studying with Barton Woomert, and is currently in the process of completing his masters degree.
Known for a rich, warm sound, he is soon to be a strong member of the
professional trumpet scene. Freddy actively spreads his passion and enthusiasm for the trumpet and music through teaching beginner students.
Freddy is patiently biding his time waiting for his chance to play inprofessional auditions with the hopes to one day play trumpet in one of the great orchestras of the world.
